DIZAINO SPARNAI PROJECT

Design Wings aims to foster the development of design solutions that generate significant social and economic impact. The project addresses key challenges, including:

  • Limited focus on the development and implementation of social innovations,
  • Low adoption of design solutions in business and social activities, and
  • A lack of qualifications and practical skills among emerging designers.

The initiative involves aspiring designers creating innovative design solutions for companies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals engaged in economic activities. By doing so, it promotes the integration of socially impactful design into businesses and NGOs, enhancing the added value, availability, and competitive advantage of the products and services offered by these entities.

Key project activities include:

  • Selection of experts, mentors, aspiring designers, companies, NGOs, and individuals,
  • Training sessions,
  • Development of design solutions by budding designers,
  • Publicity efforts,
  • Community networking events, and
  • Presentation of results.

The project will contribute to the creation of design solutions tailored to the needs of individuals engaged in economic activities, as well as micro, small, medium, and large enterprises across Central and Western Lithuania and the Capital Region.

Impact: The project aims to deliver at least 90 design solutions with measurable social and economic impact.

The project will be funded for the period 2024-2028 with €3 176 470,91.
